'She was like a puzzle. He wanted to solve every bit of her. He never knew in efforts to solve her, he was going to fall for her" The present goal for Riley Summers is simple- survive everyday in the busiest city in the world and pretend that you don't exist. She is a girl you'll find walking past you everyday, smiling with her retainers and showing off her new pikachu pyjamas to the neighbour. But behind every single smile of hers is a dark past which haunts her everyday. A past which is far more sinister than the world can imagine. Little did anyone know, she was way more than just a common girl. So when Zohac Hamilton, a multimillionaire's son and the only heir of the Hamilton International Company who has a pesty attitude of loathing everyone that comes into his way bumps into her life with his boyish grins and poky dimples, she finds herself trying to go as away from him as possible. Well atleast she 'tries'. Little does she know that with each step she takes backwards, his curiosity for knowing her increases. How long will she be able to resist his charms? Will he be able to know her little secret? As it is said, curiosity kills a man. This isn't a love story. Nor is it a miracle. This is a story of two people accidentally drowning into each other. Forever. ............................................. Cover by: @deliberates Highest rank: #7 in ChickLit #17 in Humor All rights reserved® Copyright 2015 Solving Riley

I stood with my back to her, shielding her, and my murderous eyes stared down at the poor excuse of a man, promising unimaginable pain if he dared to move or even flinch. The enormity of control it took me to suppress the impulse to eradicate the piece of scum, who dared to even think about laying a hand on a woman, was inconceivable. My whole body was trembling with rage. The guy was intimidated by the fury in my eyes and stumbled back to his intoxicated friends who were too dazed to understand the situation. I was disappointed and relieved at the same time that the chaos didn't end in a fist fight. When I turned around to console her, she was gone. And as I looked around, I saw her back just leaving the bar through the entrance. I hurried out to follow her. She walked ahead of me aimlessly and disoriented like a wounded animal that had just escaped the claws of death. My heart ached for her. I found a kindred soul in her. She evidently had been wounded in the past. Just like me. But in an even worse way than I had been hurt, and it angered me, that someone had dared to harm her. *** Eden Marie Simmons is still recovering after escaping an abusive relationship when she meets Keane, the broody and enigmatic neighbor who is shrouded in mystery. Both are still being haunted by their past and are not ready for a new commitment, but when fate repeatedly puts them in each other's paths, they can't deny their attraction for each other. Life challenges them both with secrets, lies, and broken trusts, and confronts them with their pasts. They both must learn to be brave enough to love again. *** Story is previously called "Paradise Lies"

Melissa Crawford thinks she's just a regular teenage girl. She goes to school. She has friends, boy problems, homework...you know, the typical teenage angst. But she couldn't be more wrong, for Melissa Crawford is not a mortal. Her adoptive mortal mother refused to give her up and hired a witch to erase the enchanting Faery child's memory, not realizing that things aren't that simple. You see, when she was a little girl, Melissa promised herself forever to her Leannan Sidhe (mate), a Fae Prince, and a promise to Fae is sacred. When the Fae Prince comes back to claim what's his, nothing will get in his way. "Mortals are so arrogant. So utterly narcissistic to think that they are the only intelligence in this world, to believe their realm is the only realm, their way is the only way. "Many of you believe us fairies only exist in little kids' fairy tales. We are so much more than that. We exist, living in the Realm just a blink away from yours. A few wrong turns in the park or the forest and you're there. We sometimes walk among you, and you're not even aware of it. Believe me, we exist. Across the globe, your kind calls us and our realm by different names...but as William Shakespeare once said- a rose by any other name..."
