(This is a sequel to Danganronpa: Darkened Hope. I recommend that you read Darkened Hope if you haven't already, both to avoid spoilers for that story, and to contextualize this one.) Another killing game.... another bunch of students.... another story of murder and betrayal and deceit.... But this time.... Something's different. When Benshirou Kuwahara woke up in the courtyard behind a mansion, he didn't know what to expect. At first glance, it appeared he was being held hostage with fifteen other students with exceptional talent in certain skills, somewhat like himself. But the truth was much more horrifying than just a simple kidnapping. Monokuma, the supposed landlord of "Despairblood Manor," as he called it, was nothing but sadistic and cruel. To escape, one must murder. With this one simple rule in place, everyone's lives are in danger. What will become of the Ultimates residing in the mansion? How many will die? How many will survive? Will they ever know the answers to these questions, or will the bloodshed keep on going?

"You may not believe what I'm about to describe. You may call me a liar. You may laugh at my ridiculous story and consider it nothing but a figment of my imagination. But it isn't. All good stories start with an introduction, so that's how I'll start mine. My name is Mizuki Kokatsu, and I am the Ultimate Intellectual Prodigy." ------------------------------------- She thought she was going to Hope's Peak Academy. Well, technically, she was, but it definitely wasn't what she expected. Like anyone would expect to constantly fear for their life in a school like Hope's Peak. Although, once she had finally arrived there, it couldn't be called a school anymore. A more accurate term.... Would be "prison." ------------------------------------- "Now Playing" cues tell you what music would be playing in the background if this was a visual novel! If you want, hop onto YouTube, Pandora, Spotify, or wherever and play along! It really enhances the atmosphere!

WARNING: This story contains intense themes that may be upsetting for some readers. These include: Death, gore, blood, language, mental and physical trauma, depression, suicide and anxiety. That said read at your own risk and please enjoy this Danganronpa story: Hon'yomi Nakajima has just been accepted for her first year at the infamous Hope's Peak Academy, under the title of Ultimate Poet. Nervous and a little more than excited to be apart of the 76th class, she expects to meet new people who, like her, will graduate and become the hope of the future. But the moment she steps foot on campus everything changes. She finds herself waking in a strange neighborhood with fifteen other students with no explanation as to where they are. But slowly things are revealed, they are no longer students of hope, but of despair, and if they wish to escape their prison they need only to complete one task: get away with murder. Hon'yomi doesn't want to believe it but how could she not? Suddenly nothing becomes more real to her than the game in which they all played. ❗️I do not own anything from Danganronpa❗️

After meeting his fifteen classmates, the headmaster Monokuma reveals to each of the students that they all are a part of a killing game, to which they are forced to pick off their classmates one by one until either two remain, or they correctly reveal the mastermind behind this killing game and execute them. Thousands of years after the Tragedy, humanity had rebuilt itself. There were still Japanese tales and legends of the alleged killing games; some believed them, some did not. Ultimate students who attended high schools and colleges were about the only thing that stayed constant throughout time. Needless to say, life moved on without a second thought because the people who experienced the despair were long gone now. But when Masaru Yamaguchi, a new college student, wakes up in a closed off school knowing only his name and talent, everything changes. It seems someone has taken the role of bringing the killing games back to life and now Masaru has to figure out who and why. Most impressive rankings #6 Fanganronpa *The cover art is mine. I may do one for the second story to this one as well.*

After death, it's evident that the Blackened-those grappling with their urges to commit murder-and Yamato find themselves in a classroom that serves as a unique space for reflection and growth in the afterlife. Seven years later, a new group, the SDRA2 Blackened, arrives in this confined environment, presenting an opportunity for change and understanding. As tensions mount, an hour into their interaction, everyone except Uehara unexpectedly loses consciousness. This moment presents a challenge, but also an opportunity for Uehara. When he attempts to awaken his companions, he, too, is knocked out, but this setback paves the way for personal transformation. Upon waking, Uehara feels a significant change within himself, as if he has gained new insights or perspectives. This feeling, though unsettling, can be harnessed for the greater good. With the realization that they are facing yet another killing game, Uehara recognizes the urgency of the situation. To navigate this complex scenario, he must not only explore the changes he is experiencing but also focus on fostering collaboration and understanding to prevent any acts of violence. By working together with his companions, Uehara can cultivate a safer environment and aim for constructive solutions in the face of adversity, turning this challenge into an opportunity for growth and salvation. In this story, it's important to understand that Uehara has insights and knowledge that the others lack. This is not a random occurrence; it's one of the key element that Kinji will actively investigate throughout the unfolding plot. Also, English isn't my first language so you might see some grammatical errors. I'm sorry in advance. !SPOILERS FOR BOTH GAMES! I recommend that you finish playing/watching DRA and SDRA2 first. Takes place during the Omake...(Basically after SDRA2) All characters belong to LINUJ and Spike Chunsoft (Monokuma). Also, the cover is a template from Canva.
