Rose Weasley has always been the top of her class. She got it from her mum, the pure determination to soak in all the information that she learned because to her, there was nothing more interesting. But at the start of her sixth year, she is already feeling stumped, and not because of the higher-level N.E.W.T classes that she is taking. No, this is because of a Malfoy. Her parents were never too thrilled that she was friends with the kid, but it didn't stop Rose, especially not when she couldn't even see her best friend/cousin without also seeing him. Along with Rose, Scorpius was also one of the top students in the class. He was her only real competition. And the friendly competition never hurt anyone, well, not until this year. Rose can't put her finger on what it is exactly, that has caused this shift in her friendship with Scorpius and she hates it. She hates not knowing the answers to things, and this one replayed in her head all the time. She's stumped trying to figure it out, of course not realizing that it's her cluelessness that's the real problem. This story is filled with all the different types of love, family, friends, and yes, some romance. Follow Rose on her coming of age journey through her last two years at Hogwarts, where she learns all that she possibly can about magic, and possibly more importantly, about life. ***Note: This story was written before the Cursed Child, so not everything is completely "cannon" but more of my ideas on the next generation before the Cursed Child even came out. **COMPLETE** What happens right after the end of book seven? Follow Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny as they readjust to a post-Voldemort wizarding world. Harry has quite an adjustment period to go through... Should he go back to Hogwarts after having missed a year? It's hardly a question for Hermione. Does Ginny still feel the same way that she did in sixth year? Should Ron go back to school or go into business with George now that Fred's gone? ...and what about this strange Fate Harry saw while smoking Wizard's Weed? I'm not JK Rowling and as such I don't own any of these characters/settings/etc. I also don't own the image on the book cover. I'm not making money off of this in any way. It's totally just for fun and is for personal use only. I'm trying to be as Canon as possible in order to be realistic but I'm not promising that I won't stray a little from Canon every now and then. *Warning* It starts out kinda cheesy. I'm sorry about that but when I started I wasn't the best writer. But the story gets much, much better once you push through those bad, awkward chapters. This takes place right after the defeat of Voldemort, Harry and Ginny are together, so are Ron and Hermione. I noticed that a lot of the Harry Potter fanfiction's forget about Teddy. So this also is if Harry raises Teddy. FYI: the first couple of chapters are really cheesy and lame and I don't know how to fix them so... just push through it because my writing gets better!
