Hermione and Draco have to spend a lot of time together as head boy and girl. Everyone distrusts Draco but Hermione believes he can change. Hermione is troubled by the events of the war and both she and Draco have frequent nightmares driving the two of them almost to the point of insanity. The previous seventh-year students have returned for their eighth and final year since their entire seventh year was spent fighting off Voldemort and his death eaters. Hundreds of witches and wizards have died, and the population is extremely low. With not enough witches and wizards left in the population, a new law is put into place, those ages 17-25 are expected to marry and produce children in the next two years of their life. Marriage shall be required in one year. If a witch or wizard of age refuses to wed, their wands will be snapped and magic taken away. Not wishing this, the seventh and eighth-year students obey, they would be placed into an arranged marriage, based on what the sorting hats new brother decides. Who will be placed with who? We all wish it had happened. But what if it did? What if there was a secret relationship that J. K. Rowling never shared with the fans? My own interpretation of the Harry Potter series. This one's for you Malorie ;) After starting their seventh year at Hogwarts, Draco makes a complete change, and Hermione is starting to take notice. The two have to break down the Gryffindor/Slytherin prejudice and try to make things work for a normal relationship. That is, until they have to save the school together. Okay so Dramione is one of my least favorite ships, but Malorie gave me the idea. So blame her.
