On Berk, (Y/N) daughter of Stoick the Vast, is a small, underestimated Viking who longs to prove herself. During a raid, she shoots down a Night Fury. she tracks the dragon to a hidden cove and finds him alive, maimed with a missing tail fin. Returning in secret, she studies the dragon, brings food, and gradually wins the Night Fury's trust-naming him Toothless. Torn between loyalty to Berk and her growing friendship with Toothless, (Y/N) begins to realize that understanding a dragon might be braver than killing one.

As a baby, Hiccup Haddock was taken by dragons from his home on Berk to the dragon sanctuary. Now, 20 years later, Hiccup is sent to watch over Berk with his Night Fury friend, Toothless. But, all does not go as planned and they end up stuck a little to close to home.

What if Hiccup lived his entire life with dragons instead of vikings? Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, son of Stoick the Vast, had never known the comfort of man. His mother had been taken by a dragon before he could be born among vikings. Growing up in a isolated fortress with his mother and loyal Night Fury, Toothless, Hiccup learns what it feels to live as a dragon would. His whole world has been revolved around his mother and best friend. That world will change forever when Hiccup is thrusted into the Dragon-Viking war after a mysterious man attacks the only home he knew. Tensions will rise, bonds will be tested, and when Stoick discovers his long-lost son, Hiccup will have to make the ultimate decision: choose his own kind or live amongst the creatures he sought to protect.

*COMPLETE* Stoick the vast disowns his son, Hiccup, when he finds out that he has sided with the dragons. Hiccup and Toothless escapes from execution, and plans to never come back. But fate has other plans, as Hiccup returns five years later , and finds out he has to save the dragons from both, Berk and the Red Death. But he also has to save his own life, including Berk from a new enemy., Stoick wants his son to stay home, but what he doesn't realize is that Hiccup isn't 'Hiccup' anymore. He's a whole different person. That is not Stoick's son. "Dad?" Hiccup calls. "Yeah." Stoick whispers, peaking his head into his son's room. "..I love you."

It's been six years since dragons and vikings were united. Hiccup is now chief of Berk due to his father's untimely death, but the loss of one parent resulted in the return of another, his mother Valka. Toothless, Hiccup's best friend and trusted right-hand dragon, is now Alpha to the Dragons, after the fall of the Bewilderbeast. Hiccup has a long ride as he has to be accepted as chief and prove himself worthy and with fellow dragons riders, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, Tuffnut and of course, Astrid and their trusty dragons, he knows he can do it. Things are looking up for the Berkians, but Odin has other plans. The return of old faces, results in new enemies and the entire village is put into danger by someone unexpected. Who can the Berkians trust, especially when it now seems that everyone is an enemy? And also, what will come of Astrid and Hiccup's love when a green-eyed monster will do everything in her power to break them apart, claim Hiccup and rule Berk for her own?

Y/n is a night fury. Thought to be the last one of her kind. And then things changed. Y/n met Toothless. And hiccup. And the twins. Life changed into an adventure. Hiccup was always considered the weakling of the village, he was bullied, pushed around and beaten up by all the other teens, even his cousin and the girl he loved. but it was only until one day when he shot down a night fury the most feared dragon in the whole archipelago, the so called offspring of lightning and death itself. But when he couldn't kill the dragon he took the other option... and trained it. him and toothless were the best of friends but one day when he is chosen to kill the monstrous night mare in dragon training , he can't handle it so he runs away on the back of toothless, but only for the two to be snatched up by dragons. but 5 years later when hiccup returns to Berk, he is not the hiccup they all once knew.
