"I'll take her." he finally said after some minutes of pondering. "Are you sure, Lord Dalrymph? There are other pets from which you can buy." the pet master said as he pointed to the other cages of obedient humans. Why the hell is he trying to make him change his mind!?! "Yeah, I'm sure." the vampire lord repeated himself. I chuckled a bit at his answer and my smirk grew larger and larger as I said, "Are you sure? I scratch and bite." "Ohh sweetie, you'll crawl and beg too." he promised as it was his turn to smirk. He brought his hand to my cage and stroked my cheek, without me flinching, while he continued to look at me with his intense stare. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The year is 2045 and the mystic creatures took over the world. Humans are treated pitilessly and cruelly by vampires. They are kept in cages, in the pet shop, waiting to be bought by a vampire to call him 'master'. Grace is a human who lost her family when only a child. She witnessed their death and now is seeking revenge, killing off multiples of vampires and trying to find the murderer of her family. Lord Alexander Dalrymph is a vampire who buys pets for merely entertainment and the pleasure of breaking them. However, upon entering the pet shop one day, he decides to buy an unbreakable human; Grace. What will happen to Grace when she'll be bought again? Will she kill her tenth master as well? Will she become an obedient pet? Or will something else happen? Will she fall in love? But more importantly, will she be able to accept the fact that she loves a vampire, the same race that killed her family? Born from a forbidden union between a mortal and a Valkyrie, Ascanius is no stranger to heartache. Only recently he has accepted himself for who and what he is and most importantly; his life is his own. He is content with living the remainder of his life without a partner. His heart only has room for his family and the man who helped him survive his upbringing. A man he thought had died long ago. So, when the same man attacks and accuses him of ruining his life, there are no words to describe how shocked he is. What shakes him the most is how he is now the opposite of the version of him he kept safe in his memories; spiteful, miserable, and hot-headed. He'd sooner blame Ascanius, his parents, and even the gods for his issues before he blames himself. Now he must decide whether he should try to mend his ex-lover's wounds or abandon him to keep his own scars from reopening. Trapped in Purgatory, Invidian finds himself in the same room without escape. He doesn't recognise the room nor does he recognise who he is, until someone lets him out with the condition he plays their game. As his memories return, he begins to realize what he lost. For the people who took his life from him, he promises there will be hell to pay. Davian is a reaper, as in the creature who guides souls to the other side. Only, he is afraid of death and wants nothing to do with his destiny. When he realises a guy from his school is being possessed by a demon blinded by revenge, everything will change. As a heads up, this story contains violence, explicit language, sexual content and guy on guy action. Read at your own risk. Enjoy! (This is the first book to the Mortal Wounds Series)

"Before I show you who I am, I want you to remember what you're fighting for," Aide replied cautiously and gave them all a piercing stare. "Keep an open mind." "Just tell us, lad," Hanke snarled impatiently and bobbed his sword. "Brace yourselves," Aide said as he slowly reached for his hood. Emaia's heart pounded vigorously in her chest, so loudly, she feared people could hear. This was it. She would finally see the face of her rescuer, the face she had so longed to see. Aide gave them all one last lingering look before he closed his eyes. "Your whole world is about to change." He punctuated his sentence by pulling off his hood. The entire crowd gasped and all readied their weapons, as long silver hair burst free from the cloak and long slender ears appeared. It was impossible, Emaia thought. They had been extinct for decades. But there was no denying it. She looked at the man who had rescued her a few nights ago, and remembered him as charming and valiant. It all made so much sense now-why he could do, what he could do. He was an elf. And not just any elf. - A Northern Elf.

The future is shifting, and humans are willing to do whatever it takes for the power to remain on their side. A village of Shifters is discovered, and they do as they have done in the past. They slaughter and torture every one of them, except for two. They leave the two huddled in one another's arms to watch the mass killing of the only thing they'd ever known. The humans have decided to repent for their past by giving the two Shifters a chance, something that hasn't happened in all of history. And what better way to show their ability to change what they've become known for than to send them to one of the Gordon boys who's next in line for Human Chair in the counsel? Will the Shifters show that not all of their kind lie in a blood of betrayal or will they provide evidence that that's the only thing they know? (Second installment of the Gordon series. He just kept smiling while shaking his head. "After you, Snowflake," he said, sweeping his hand, but I only growled at him, thoroughly unamused by the name. "Call me Snowflake one more time--" I started, my voice low, but he seemed unfazed by it. "Your death threats are getting stale, do you not think, love?" He asked, emphasizing the last word with a raised eyebrow. When she took on the dare, the last thing she expected was to be captured like a wild animal and brought to a grand palace belonging to one of the three Gordon boys. She certainly didn't expect to play the part of a Protector or to constantly question her emotions for a pair of arrogant, blue eyes. (First installment of the Gordon series. Kendall Gordon's story.) When Mandy loses her job, she thinks she’s hit rock bottom – until her plane is swallowed by a strange storm that sends her and everyone else on board 10,000 years into the future. At first, she thinks the scary world is nothing more than a bad dream. The war-torn Earth is unrecognizable. Black fog blocks the sun, and the oceans are dry. Even worse: the planet is inhabited by half-human, half-alien creatures dying from a mysterious disease. Horrified at the thought of spending her life here, she clings to the knowledge that there’s one man who can open the star gate to send her home. As the Naki prince who controls the star gate, Akkadi gets first choice of any human female that makes her way through the star gate. Only by breeding with purebred humans from the past can his race hope to remain immune to the disease and hopefully, develop an eventual cure. With shrinking resources and a raging battle for the human planet, dutiful, commanding Akkadi is less than thrilled at the idea of trying to figure out Mandy, a woman he views as wild with neither discipline nor respect for someone in his position. He’s ready to write her off, when she offers him something too tempting to resist: her body for the chance to convince him by any means possible to send her home. Neither intends for the arrangement to be permanent or to fall for the other. Only when Mandy learns Akkadi’s secret and walks away does he realize he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her – even if it means losing his war.
