Hogwarts has reopened after six months of rebuilding. All of the previous seventh years have been invited to return to school to redo the year that they missed whilst fighting for the successful defeat of the Dark Lord. Most people are feeling elation, happiness, and relief at the newfound freedom in the wizarding community, but not Hermione Granger. The war changed most people for the better, like Draco Malfoy, who is now seeking redemption for his actions. Hermione is now a broken mess and seems to have lost all positive emotion, after the torment of the war and not being able to replace her parents memories, she needs help.

Draco Malfoy has become head boy and the head girl is none other than Hermione Granger...Draco decides that after months of being in close quarters with her that he wants a fresh start. His troubled past continues to haunt him as he goes through the school year feel alone and desolate. What Draco doesn't realize is that he has started to fall for the frizzy haired bookworm. Can Draco get Hermione after all that he's done or will he be forever alone?

The war is over, the Dark Lord defeated, and school is back in session. What could go wrong within the halls of Hogwarts, besides a potion project that causes a body switch, and two newly mature Veelas roaming the school in search of their mates?

And in their fifth year, Draco stumbles across the Room of Requirement and makes a new friend, though she is not allowed to tell anyone or his father will hear about it! Hermione's not sure how she'll be able to handle such a fun-loving guy like George and whether or not she can have a boyfriend and still help her friends when Ron becomes jealous. And Draco just wants to try and be a good person because of Luna, but he's starting to fall for her and he can't shake the feeling.
