But here's the catch he never had any magic not one bit because during the war a death eater casted a spell upon the boy after he was born and he couldn't do magic until one day when he was 9 years old, he went into the forest and came upon some strange stone and when he picked it up it somehow restored his magic but also gave him something else. It gave him the power to use magic but also transform into metal beings that he grew up reading and watching during some time in muggle world.
