It's their senior year of high school, and Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards, or Jerrie, as their friends like to call them, are one hundred percent positive that they'll be together forever. After taking a crucial step in their relationship, things seem to be running as perfectly as they could possibly be. The moral of this story: seven years is a hell of a lot of time.

''You can't just leave me here!'' Jade yelled in fear and anger. Shivers ran up her spine as the cold November wind touched her bare arms, but she chose to ignore it. ''Please don't leave me...'' ''I have no choice, Jade. It's better this way. Better for you,'' Perrie said, fighting back tears. ''How is it better? How could it possibly be good if we're apart?'' the brunette cries out. ''Because I am no good for you!'' Perrie cried, her voice cracking. ''I... You are a sunshine, I am a shadow. You are good and pure, I'm bad and stained... You're the day, I'm the night.'' Jade took one step forward, closer to the blonde. ''I have always loved the night.''

Jade glanced up into the dense darkness of Perrie's sunglasses. Only when she felt she had made direct eye contact did she speak. Slowly and firmly, she said, "It doesn't matter what you do, you don't scare me. And nothing you say will ever change that." "Oh don't worry, it'll happen." *Equal parts Jerrie and Lesy*

Thank you to the person that suggested I try writing something out of my comfort zone. Enjoy this story in which both Jade and Perrie are extremely stubborn. Some other stuff happens too.

Despite it being three months since the initial outbreak, no one could really recall the how or why. The dead didn't die, and the dead feasted on the flesh of living beings. Who doesn't love some good ol' teenage angst?

Jade never expected that she would need to find ways to intentionally break the appliances in her house, but Perrie makes her do things that don't necessarily make sense.

Intoxicated. Hollow. Insane. Fake. Charming. Dangerous. Words that sum up Jade Thirlwall, child of a drug addicted ex-rocker. Perrie Edwards is a good puppet. She does what they tell her to - act, smile, talk, lipsync - whatever it takes to pull in money. She's not going to go back to her old life again. Curiosity kills the cat. But Perrie's perplexed by Jade, curious about the girl that possibly hides behind the emotionless exterior, curious if she can save a broken soul. What she doesn't know is, maybe some people just don't have souls. Maybe they're just empty inside.
