Art Is NOT Mine
"Goodbye, Jayce..."
Jayce and Viktor grew to be partners, working for a future for HexTech. But when he heard those words, his heart sank, knowing his one true friend was leaving. His only regret was making the HexCore to keep him alive, even when he promised Viktor to destroy the HexCore that killed Sky, but in a flash, he felt his heart beating rapidly with sorrow and despair, reflecting on his words: "It was affection that held us together." Watching Viktor leave everything they worked hard for behind, Jayce was confused about why he would leave. He thought that the two partners were parting ways for his own safety, and he felt pain in his chest. Had he gained feelings for his own partner, even if he knew that his heart belonged to Mel, the only person who made him feel accepted while the council banished him from Piltover? Yet he felt that his heart also belonged to Viktor. He knew that he had fallen in love with Sky; he could see the way she looked at him. He felt lost and confused of who he should choose to love, Who could he choose...His own feelings, or his own work?
"Why Does my heart cry? Feelings I Can't Fight, You're free to leave me but just don't deceive me, And Please Believe me when I say "I Love You." - Moulin Rouge (Ewan McGregor)
I have now gained a clear understanding of the developments occurring in Act Two, and I find myself eagerly anticipating what will transpire next. At present, I hold mixed feelings regarding the character of Jayce. However, I have supported the pairing of Jayce and Viktor for quite some time, and my viewpoint concerning both characters remains unchanged. I appreciate their relationships as well as their respective canon pairings. With that said, I find Act Two of this series to be highly engaging, and I look forward to the release of Act Three. Furthermore, I hope that all readers enjoy this book as much as I enjoy writing it.
