Harry was returning to Hogwarts alone, Hermione being recognised as a crucial player in the Ministry's efforts of returning the wizarding world to its former Glory. Ron, feeling like Hogwarts held to many soured memories to ever be a home again. When Harry manages to involve himself with dark people with darker intentions the last remaining façade of normality slips away. Without his two closest friends to aid him on a journey of recovery, it seems like the next best answer will be with the reformed Malfoy. Harry decides to prank Draco after a game of Quidditch. Desiring for Draco to go mad, he waits for him in an empty classroom. However, as soon as he realizes Draco wants to vent his anger in different way, he appears to be rather withdrawn and insecure - despite the fact he highly likes it. Does this mean Draco has more guts than Harry, after all? They decide to create a distance between them. After not seeing each other for months, they meet by utter chance. They are tensed, confused, and ready for a fall now school starts again. How will they manage, now shadows are trailing behind them? Draco, obnoxious and knocked with daddy issues. Harry, now insecure and put on edge - knowing he's the chosen one. EDIT: The first few chapters were written when I was around the age of 13. My English has developed over time.
