In an attempt to help Virgil, the orphanage transferred him to a different school. Weird things start happening to Virgil that he just can't explain and when three new people start to push their way into his life, Virgil finds himself in a very hairy situation. Can Virgil keep his walls up, or will they be torn down right before his eyes? And for the love of Crofter's why does he feel so weird when he is around the apparent leader of the trio? Virgil was depressed and anxious. Everyone knew it. His family signed him up with a homophobic counsoler, but he was just getting worse. Patton was depressed and hiding it. No one knew. His family didn't understand why his grades were low, but that just made it worse.

A shapeshifter, a vampire, a fairy, and a werewolf become roommates after trying their hand in the human world. The only problem is, they all think they are the only monster living with humans.

Virgil was a shy boy who loathed high school more than anyone else. He either got bullied or ignored occasionally shoved but nothing more. He hated his life. But when he meets Logan he doesn't know whether to hate or love it more. Logan was the new kid. Immediately, he got the nickname Nerd or Robot when kids were extra mean. However, there was something no one knew. Logan isn't always Logan on the nighttime he was Logic America's rising serial killer.

Virgil's whole family believes that the LGBTQ+ community is a sin. Virgil didn't know why. He just went along with everything his family did and say. His cousin was kicked out of his family for being Pansexual. Virgil missed him so much. It wasn't until college until they see each other again that he realizes his cousin has been through so much. But, Virgil has also been through so much bullying, Anxiety, and Depression. But, there was a family who adopted his cousin. Someone that Virgil was least expecting to fall in love with... his name was Roman.

'Looking for quiet roommate.' 'Located in quiet area.' 'Apartment has previously received noise complaints.' Virgil groaned and tossed his phone onto his bed, burying his face in his hands. He just needed an apartment that would be okay with his job. Trying to keep to his price range and find what he needed was proving to be so much harder than he thought it would. This would be his first time moving somewhere that he didn't know the owners of the place beforehand. "Welcome to YouTube life, idiot." Virgil grumbled to himself. He picked up his phone again, going to close out of the app he was using, but suddenly a line on one that he hadn't looked at caught his eye. 'Must be willing to allow for eccentric work ethics and schedules, as owner of the apartment works independently online.' Virgil tapped on the listing and began to read. 'Four bedroom apartment, looking for up to three roommates. Apartments beneath and above are both empty at the moment, noise is not a problem so long as residents are courteous. Preferred that applicants are male.' Virgil stared at the listing. This was so... so perfect. He closed the app and tapped his messenger app. 'Hey Pat, I think I found something.' Disclaimer: I just reread A Lesson in Practicality by @residentanchor, so there might be some things ever so slightly similar to that, but if there are I am not doing it on purpose and I apologize.
