Christmas has just ended and everyone is relaxing from the stress of the holiday season...that is everyone but Gumball Watterson. After watching a horror trailer late at night, he becomes traumatized, especially when Carrie tells him of a horror movie she saw over Christmas break. But, it's just a movie...right???

Update: guys I wrote this when I was a freshman in high school. I am now a college senior. I'm aware it isn't good😭 After an encounter with a mysterious new neighbor goes horribly wrong, Gumball is suddenly burdened by an uncontrollable Curse that transforms him into a monstrous beast. It's up to Darwin, Anais, and Penny to help him destroy it, before it destroys him.

An unidentified amount of time after Gumball Watterson encouraged Penny Fitzgerald to break out of her shell and be herself, a new threat has emerged from the world of infinite static with the intention of capturing the one fairy who exposed herself to the world. This sends the two of them on the run from not only Rob, but a new enemy like none the town has ever seen before (even by Elmore's standards). With the entirety of Elmore, and possibly the world, at stake, the two lovebirds are indirectly sent on a journey both physically and emotionally. Gumball is now introduced to the darker side of the fairy's emotions and her feelings about herself and her powers.
