A little while after the destruction of Starkiller Base Rey & Kylo Ren meet again. This time Kylo has been given instructions to bring Rey to the dark side but things don't go quite as planned. Welcome to my first ever fanfiction. I'm brand new to writing so this is my first attempt at anything like this. If you like Reylo and Reylo fluff then this might just be the fanfic you are looking for. It's a slow burn story ...... just the way I like them. Two weeks after the battle on Crait we catch up with Supreme Leader Kylo Ren adjusting to life without Snoke and Rey surrounded by the remnants of the Resistance. The force bond is still active between them though neither of them seem very happy about it. Rating is for possible violence and lemons in the future. Also this is my first fanfic so please don't judge me too hard. Disclaimer: I do not own Star Wars or any of the amazing characters!

Please Read Two Parts of a Whole: a Reylo Star Wars Story and Star Wars: The Last Hope first as this story takes place immediately after the events that took place in that story. After the Battle on Ilum, The Members of the Resistance are trying to regroup and come up with a plan to destroy Zoroyais and the First Order.

This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. After Crait, the Resistance is all but decimated. It will take time before they regain the strength and numbers to be anything more than an annoyance to the First Order. In the meanwhile, the Force bond between Rey and the new Supreme Leader not only continues but grows. They begin to be able to see one another's surroundings, touch things... and as the bond grows, so does their relationship. Mutual distrust becomes begrudging acceptance. Then a strange sort of friendship. And then... well... ;) Post TLJ Reylo fanfic; VERY Rey/Ben centric; will focus almost exclusively on times when the bond brings them together; A VERY patient slow burn that devotes a lot of time to character development.
