HIGHEST RANK #3 TEEN FICTION 12/11/19 [FIRST 6 CHAPTERS UNDER MAJOR EDITING - pls continue further before giving up xoxo] ❝ You weren't kidding about having straight As,❞ is probably one of the last things I want to hear from a guy while we're stranded on an island at night in the rain with my now semi-transparent shirt clinging to my body. But to be honest, it's one of the smaller problems I've had so far at Pemberton Academy. -- Daisy Sorenson is a new transfer to the illustrious halls of Pemberton Academy, ruled by the notoriously rich and gorgeous Top Four: Parker Lennox, Holden Vermont, Logan Green and Stephanie Carter. A coincidence, followed by an impulsive decision hurls her headfirst into yacht parties, a rich boy's jersey, a fake relationship, being marooned on an island in the middle of the night and possibly even love. If there's one thing that's for sure, it's that her wish for a quiet, drama-free senior year has gone up in flames. - i guarantee it isn't as cliche as it sounds pls give me a chance xoxo COMPLETE: 4 Jul 2020

Northanger Abbey follows seventeen-year-old Gothic novel aficionado Catherine Morland and family friends Mr. and Mrs. Allen as they visit Bath. It is Catherine's first visit there. She meets new friends, such as Isabella Thorpe, and goes to balls. Catherine finds herself pursued by Isabella's brother, the rough-mannered, slovenly John Thorpe, and by her real love interest, Henry Tilney. She also becomes friends with Eleanor Tilney, Henry's younger sister. Henry captivates her with his view on novels and his knowledge of history and the world. General Tilney (Henry and Eleanor's father) invites Catherine to visit their estate, Northanger Abbey, which, from her reading of Ann Radcliffe's Gothic novel The Mysteries of Udolpho, she expects to be dark, ancient and full of Gothic horrors and fantastical mystery.

* CURRENTLY BEING REWRITTEN* Pskov, Russia - Winter 1941 The Germans came quickly. They stayed even longer. Eighteen year-old Katja is left alone when her brother leaves to fight for the Red Army. By the time winter settles over Pskov, her town is already occupied. Its streets patrolled by enemy soldiers, its people starving, its familiarity stripped away piece by piece. Survival becomes her only goal. Until she meets him. Wilhelm Winter, a young German officer stationed in occupied Pskov, never imagined the war would look like this. A lover of Russian literature and music, he finds himself trapped between orders and conscience, and the lines between right and wrong begin to blur. A single act of kindness, a pair of gloves offered in the snow, binds their lives together. What begins as fleeting glances and stolen moments grows into something far more dangerous. In a city ruled by fear and suspicion, Katja and Wilhelm navigate hunger, loss, desire, and the unbearable weight of loving the enemy. Every meeting risks exposure. Every choice carries consequences that neither of them can escape. As winter deepens and the war demands more blood, they must decide whether love can survive under occupation or whether it will destroy them both. * Wilhelm Winter is inspired by the character from the German miniseries, Generation War. This story is a fictional reinterpretation and does not aim to portray the character or events exactly as shown in the series. While the name and visual inspiration remain the same, this version of Wilhelm is written for this story alone. All other characters and events are original creations. *This story is intended for mature audiences and includes depictions of violence, sexual content, and strong language.

"Rule number one," He whispers, pulling back to look me right in the eye, "Never let your guard down." He flashes me a cunning smirk as I stare at him, stunned at what he had just done. Only, he makes a mistake of turning to see what everyone else ahead of the bleachers is doing. I smirk and take a step back forcefully. Just as he turns his head back to face me, I swing my arm at his face. "No. That's rule two," I snap, "Rule one is never turn your back to your opponent." Faye Williams is not the type of girl who would call for the attention. However, she calls things as she sees them. Faye's not afraid to use her fist, for that's all she's ever known. Some call her a good girl while others call her a rebel. What most people don't know is that she's witnessed things that not many people get to witness. With an unstable mother who blames her for a needed divorce, she's seen, heard, and knows plenty. It's not until she moves to Miami, Florida with her dad, that trouble arises. Let's just say that the odds are not in her favor, especially when it comes to that notorious 'bad kid' Travis. Yet, for some reason, she feels that fixing the bad boy will mend herself. When a powerful gang leader, a notorious bad boy, vengeful mother, and two faced acquaintances enter the equation, Faye knows there's nothing to save her now. *Copyright © 2013* All rights reserved.
