Vic Fuentes never thought anything bad would happen to him. He had a pretty decent life; star-player of the soccer team at his high school, good grades, girls swooning over him. Vic never really took danger precautions seriously. One drunken night, he’s dared to go into the woods alone in the middle of the night while drunk to sleep there. That’s the night when his mindset about danger changed. Kellin Quinn-Bostwick was always the loner boy. His life was as low as someone’s life could get; abusive parents, bad grades, no friends. He was also openly gay. People never tried to tease him or taunt him about it; or about anything, for that matter. Everyone knew Kellin could kill–literally. He watches Vic and his drunken friends near the woods and decides, without thinking, how to ruin their night. He doesn’t know it yet, but Kellin only made Vic’s night better. ((Hey so this is a sequel to my story "I'll Be The Fire That'll Catch You." If you haven't read that yet, go and read that one first:--) )) As if a gust of wind paved their way, Vic left Kellin just like that; no further and clearer explanations, whatsoever. And just like a wild whirlwind, Vic suddenly came back to San Diego after two years, together with Oliver. Could Kellin keep up with his tough demeanor or would he eventually break and give in?

Kellin gets into a car accident on his way home from work. The cause of the accident was a drunk driver, Mike. He wakes up in the hospital and was told he was in a coma for about a week. Mike's brother, Vic comes to visit him and well Kellin isn't so happy that the brother of the man who caused him all these injuries is wanting to help. Sooner or later Kellin will give in. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

~Kellic~ Kellin just started his new school! As he battles with issues at home and his sexuality, Vic, an older boy just confuses him more! Will the 'relationship' work out, or will the boys differences make things just too hard!

What is Vic's deepest, darkest secret that is forcing him to leave Kellin, even though he loves him with all his heart? All from Kellin's POV unless stated otherwise.
