Three sisters, three callings. Morna, forced to fight the siren call of water at every breath. Adair, born with the mysterious powers of her Nothern mother. Brenna, crushed under the weight of a life of obscurity and poverty. The Ildersong girls were born on the wrong side of Fate. Each tries to run from what they are, but the world does not work that way. As Morna hides in her meekness, Adair creates an icy kingdom to lock the world out, and Brenna does anything to become queen, they find through blood and tears that Fate cannot be tricked or bargained with. They must come to terms with their destinies, or face the horrible consequences that threaten to destroy everything they might hold dear.

"Nothing happens by accident, Jani. Have you ever wondered what your parents do for a living?" "I don't know. I know my dad has a diamond mine and several other projects he is invested in." "One of those investments is in mind control. It encourages the development of altered personalities. It makes the individual much easier to manipulate, and control." Told through the eyes of young Jani, a 15 year old girl, meet Alejandro Jones: Hollywood's favorite, multi-talented poster boy. Jani is born to be his slave and has no idea. But nobody suspected that Alejandro would despise the system they were both sold into, and protect her at all costs. Even from his multi-personalities. *author's note... READERS BE WARNED: Rated mature, and there will be ugly violent things as well as beautiful things. What inspired this story is known as "The Monarch Project." The characters are all mine. All are fictional, and this story is based solely for the reader's entertainment. Though it was just a random Youtube video that inspired this tale, I would like to invite the viewers to focus on a man's true honor, even in the face of terrible temptation, and the need for parents to love and care for their children rather than toss them aside, or hurt them in any manner. And a woman's inner strength. Cover is handmade from watercolors.
