The Unova Region, the only region that has no Pokemon from other regions in years. Pokemon and people lived in harmony for years, yet three friends were never able to travel for reasons only known amongst themselves and their families. However, on Hilda's sixteenth birthday, she, Cheren and Bianca were given a Pokedex and their starter Pokemon, therefore giving them permission to travel around the region to compete in the Yin Yang Conference and in Bianca's case, the Unova Grand Festival. Despite some protest speeches from an organization known as Team Plasma and a green-haired teen two years older than them named N, their journeys started off smoothly. However, things goes from bad to worse when Team Plasma becomes too extreme in their ideals, N starts following Hilda everywhere and worse of all, Hilda is being force to battle N in a battle of truths and ideals, using the Legendary Dragons that were known to ravaged Unova in early history. Things might be the same as back then...or worst!

The region that is rich in history and snow. The region is also the home to Prof. Rowan, the professor who studies the reason for Pokemon evolution. It's a great place for Dawn and her best friend/neighbor since day-care days, Barry, to begin their journey. Despite a rough start, almost being pecked to death by Starlys after encountering a blue-haired man in weird clothing, they're all set to claim their victories at the Lily of the Valley Conference, and in Dawn's case, the Sinnoh Grand Festival, after obtaining their Pokedexes and starter Pokemon from Prof. Rowan and his part-time assistant, Lucas. However, their journeys are not all sunshine and rainbows as they deal with jerkish rivals, snobbish Pokemon, and powerful Gym Leaders. Then again, that's all tame compared to the threat of Team Galactic and their plans. Not to mention whatever is in the Distortion World!

Brendan Birch was an ordinary Trainer. He's the son of Prof. Birch, he already gotten his starter, and he has done research. So, when his new neighbor, the daughter of Petalburg's new Gym Leader and his father's best friend Norman Haruka, May Haruka, moved in, he was excited to finally have someone his own age to talk to. Shortly afterwards, Brendan began his journey across the Hoenn Region, collecting data, Gym Badges and Contest Ribbons on the way.
