I was disappointed at the lack of Hera x Chopper at the end of the Forgotten Droid as their relationship was hinted at/set up when Chopper met AP-5, so I took it upon myself to write this. I know the rebels are no longer on Lothal, but I'm too lazy to rewatch the episode to find out where they went, so just replace in your head every reference to Lothal with the new planet/base. What if Kanan didn't die and he knew Hera was pregnant? After the birth, it's hard in the beginning to play the role of new parents. However, with the Ghost crew's help, it's not so bad.

'Mon coeur' is what Hera calls Kanan in the French-language version of Star Wars Rebels; it means "my heart". This one-shot takes place towards the end of season 3 (my original idea was that it happens the night Ezra goes into Kanan's cabin, and Kanan's not there). Hera and Kanan have been through a lot, and some distance has grown between them over the months since Kanan's return from Malachor. Kanan finally gets a chance/makes a real effort to talk it out with her. status: complete. Angst, fluff, and smut! All the good stuff.
