They grew jointed at the hip, one was only seen with the other. Achilles loved running, he loved telling everyone about his day; Patroclus loved the way the stars looked at night, he loved laughing at Achilles' jokes. And both of them eventually grew into teenagers who learned how to lose and how to smile brighter than the sun. Achilles has kissed far too many people and Patroclus has learned about each and every one of them. Patroclus lays in his bed, talking about the future, and Achilles listens to every word. And one day, Achilles learns that he only needs to kiss one person. Il marmo della Sala dell'Olimpo tremò per l'impatto e quando scagliò la lancia verso Ares, il dio non fu veloce abbastanza da impedire che gli si potesse conficcare nella spalla. Rovinò a terra tra i sussulti degli dei attorno a loro ma non fece in tempo ad alzarsi. Atena gli piombò sul petto, le ginocchia contro il suo corpo, tenendolo bloccato al terreno mentre, con estenuante lentezza, rivoltava la lancia nella sua spalla. Ares sussultò, digrignò i denti mentre lingue di icore gli colavano lungo la spalla ed il braccio, allargandosi sul pavimento. Atena si chinò su di lui, il volto a pochissimi centimetri da quello del dio della guerra, vicino abbastanza da poter sentire il respiro affannato di dolore sulla pelle. - Se succede qualcosa a mia figlia, Ares - sibilò, in un sussurro, - farò in modo che la tua stessa esistenza ed essenza scompaiono nel nulla fino a che, di te, non rimarrà neanche il più piccolo brandello di ricordo.

Dopo la morte di Patroclo... L'amato di Achille Il titolo è dopo di te. L'ho scritto in greco, ma essendo che non frequento il classico, l'ho cercato su vari traduttori online e non sono certissima che il titolo sia esatto. In caso, che qualche greco venga in mio aiuto :D
