It's been one year since Soul has become a death scythe and the Kishin, Asura, was taken care of. Maka and Soul start to discover their feelings for each other after they kiss at a party. Although, their new found feelings are the least of their problems when they encounter a cloaked person shrouded in mystery. How will the two of them get past their own hearts, and what will the partners do with this new threat? I do not own the characters of soul eater and I did not draw the cover art! Also, this story has parts from the manga in it that aren't in the anime (it's kind of a mix of both), so if there are any questions, feel free to ask! Please, enjoy! Soul finds Maka's diary mysteriously on his bed with some...interesting confessions.

It's a new year in DWMA, and Maka and Soul get into a heated argument, leaving Maka in tears. But when she accidentally bumps into the mysterious Death the kid, what will happen? >Undergoing serious editing<

It was just another day in Death City. DWMA was up and about living life to the fullest. Maka's team was yet again assigned a special mission by no one other than Dr. Stein. HOWEVER, Soul has pulled away from Maka and was being controlled by a Kishin. The continuous one-sided battle forced the rest of the meisters to retreat. While Lord Death, Spirit, and Stein tried to find a way to locate Soul, the team had to control Maka's reckless behavior of the weaponless meister. For some reason, Kid was the only one who could get through to her. They all decided to let Maka stay at Kid's place for a while. Kid didn't seem to mind, until he starts realizing what he truly feels towards her. Will Kid tell Maka what she means to him? Will Maka remain weaponless?
