I hope you enjoy the story as much as I did making it. It took me months to write the original story to share with you here.

Ashley is a young inkling girl who lives in Inkopolis city. She goes to Inkopolis middle school and seems to live an ordinary life. Every day she goes to school and attends classes except on weekends; she regularly tangles with the school bully Meredith and struggles with schooling. She has a best friend named Anselm who is an octoling that defected from the Octarian army and she has a crush on him; though shes not willing to openly admit it. Her life seems quite normal; but that is where normal ends and crazy begins. Ashley is part of a law enforcement family. Her mother Officer Lillian is a member of the calamari county police department and works the 9-5 shift. Her father Agent James is a Federal Agent of the Inkopolis FBI and is always gone on foreign cases. Ashley has a favorite pass time of watching crime documentaries; exercising crossfit workouts, and perusing her passion for crime fighting by working with her mom or conducting her own investigations for fellow students. Then everything changes; when she comes to school and makes a new friend named Bethany. Bethany is followed by trouble; in particular the following day after meeting her; three students are gunned down by a mysterious killer. Then more murders happen and more. Leaving Ashley almost lost and confused in her pursuit. Making matters more complicated; a group of foreign students called the suits has entered the school and hold a strong interest in Ashley. Ashley feels she can crack the case and bring in the killer. But there are problems stacking against her. The First is that the killer is random; erratic and killing people Ashley has no connections to. The victims are all within her age group which complicates it more as her age group doesn't snitch. The second; Bethany might be the alleged killer due to descriptions. The third problem is that Ashley's dad lost his brother in a shootout and isn't willing to let Ashley pursue the case. Can Ashley crack the case before it cracks her?
