"Great power comes with great..." I raised my eyebrows at Guardian, looking his skin-tight suit up and down. "Urges to wear spandex, apparently." "Are you using altered famous superhero comic book references to insult me?" he asked incredulously. I snorted. "You bet your fucking ass, I am." *** Crown City has all the typical big-city flare. There's a McDonald's on every corner, enough carbon emissions to end life as we know it, and a new supervillain trying to take over right before finals week. For Tessa Kingston, Supers are nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, Tessa likes to pretend that Supers don't even exist at all. Though Tessa isn't exactly shy with her not-so-popular thoughts on Crown City's resident vigilante, Guardian, he seems to have taken a liking to the annoyed teenager. Well, he and his buddies have, that is - buddies meaning two supervillains dressed in Walmart Star Wars masks. Crown City has always been a center for mayhem and superpowers, but when strange things start happening too often to be coincidences, Tessa finds herself in the middle of a fight she didn't start but she sure as hell was going to end. Villains torment her. Heroes try to save her. Tessa just wants to pass Supers 101. In a world full of Supers, it's up to normal-teenager Tessa Kingston to save her city. A typical tagline she's well-aware of, of course. As Tessa prepares to show these Super-fools they messed with the wrong girl, she just has one condition: There's no way she's wearing spandex. *** BOOK #1 OF THE "SUPERHEROES SUCK" DUOLOGY Featured on the Wattpad Adventure, Action, Superhero, and Humour profiles! WARNING: Contains mild swearing, cliffhangers, plot twists, and enough sarcasm to last a lifetime.

Sassy parkour runner Scarlett Banks, is mysteriously exiled from Mars. Arriving she collides with Dante Tyrell the Earth's resident gorgeous bad boy. A man so impenitent he doesn't hesitate to share his public dislike for Martians. Scarlett gives as good as she gets and isn't interested in someone who can't even say where he has been for the last year. However, Scarlett is now in a future Earth, where robots do all the work. The machines paying people to do, well nothing but look for the next party, the next drink and the next kiss. The robots think this sounds like a recipe for paradise but Scarlett isn't so sure. It would also be so much easier if she didn't keep running into the infuriating Dante. Into this Scarlett meets Io, a girl who was raised by robots in space. So much so that she might fail the test for being human and be sold off as a 'flesh bot'. This can't be good. With only her sharp wit, sarcastic earrings, and skills at parkour. Scarlett and her robot Kentro set out to stop her friend Io's 'reprocessing'. As for Dante, well that's a different matter. There was a note next to the bed. "YOUR DINNER IS IN THE OVEN" it began followed by PTO on the other side, it had "THE OVEN IS IN THE PIZZA SHOP DOWN THE ROAD." Oh right. Think 'Jeeves and Wooster' meets 'The Martian' Highest #9 in Science Fiction A Kickass book from the authors of the popular #1 SciFi hit 'I'm a cyborg's pet'. Think of it as Cyborg's pet's Darker, funnier, more evil twin. ( look at the accolades, 3 of which are real ) @Crazy_Awesome I like badass Scar. xD @Pixielala I'm laughing too hard right now.... just so you know.... @SaroofHassan Everyone's looking at me weird for laughing out loud @RealDonaldTrump - this is absolutely the greatest book ever written, believe me. PG 13 - contains humour, swearing, loud music, flashing lights & nuts but is Gluten-free.
