Thea is the half human half Fae daughter of the King of Tuatha Dé Danann. The fact that she is half human half Fae means she's not supposed to exist. Fae blood always breeds true. Désespérée de trouver un emploi, Lacie, jeune infirmière de vingt ans, finit par trouver une place dans un asile psychiatrique. Elle entre alors dans le pays des merveilles de la folie. Les patients tous plus dangereux et fous les uns que les autres et le directeur qui semble être le dieu de cet endroit. Pour sortir de cet endroit, elle doit devenir une Alice et gagner la confiance de tout les patients. Au risque de devenir aussi folle que le chapelier.
