You awaken on a beach confused and naked. You're in a new place that you thought could never exist, a place with prehistoric wildlife and creatures from your wildest dreams. Will you even find your way back? (ARK: A Different Survival is a story that is a FanFiction of the game ARK: Survival Evolved. The big twist to this story is that to tame a creature you have to have let it perform a sexual act on you. The dinosaurs all have the ability of speech, emotions and personalities. Taming a Dinosaur will make it fall in love with you. This story isn't just about sex, it's an actual story with the twist on taming being a part of it.)

If this is the apocalypse, I'd rather have zombies over dinosaurs. Or would I? Stuck on an island that looked like it hadn't been touch by anyone ever, I find myself alone. I have nothing, not even the clothes on my back. With no clue where I am, I need to figure out how to survive in a world that I know doesn't make sense. Dinosaurs, prehistoric animals, god-damned dodo birds, the island has it all. Except for other people. But I'll find them. I have to. When I do find other people, who's to say they won't be more deadly than the creatures? Trust will become more rare than showers. Humans will turn their backs on their own to join the beasts. Loyalty will be found, gained and tested. Will the bonds that I make save my life? Or be the reason I lose it? Will I manage to find some pants? Will I discover any answers to what's going on? What secrets does this island hold? For all the questions that I have, I do know one thing for certain: I am not ready for this. ((Read the tags before you read this!!!!! Stranded naked, and freezing on an island with nothing but ripped underwear as clothing, the ARK could be the most dangerous place in the world, with a plethora of leviathan dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures to tame and many objects to craft and mine, you can build up your own base and tribe and rule over the island. But with other tribes and raids, sometimes it can be a huge struggle, but the things that all of the tribes want most, are the artifacts, the artifacts to summon one of the most powerful bosses of the ARK, the Broodmother. What tribe will be the first to obtain these artifacts? Find out as the whole island battles to find these artifacts and slay the almighty, Broodmother. But the question that everyone is asking, what are they doing here, and why are there dinosaurs roaming the land? In this world, everything doesn't seem as normal as you think it would be in the island, of the ARK.
