Sixteen years ago in Japan, before the Hamato dojo was destroyed by Oroku Saki, known as The Shredder, and the tragic murder of Tang Shen, Hamato Yoshi had a first female student named Mei Pieh Chi, or Venus De Milo. Shortly after, he discovered four baby turtles, which were later mutated alongside Splinter by the Krang's mutagen. Yoshi trained them just as he had trained Venus, holding onto cherished memories of her and missing her dearly. Then one day, a miracle happened: Venus and her brothers arrived in New York City. There, she confronted Karai, a bitter rival from Tokyo, and intervened just in time to save April from a devastating blow. This act forged a strong friendship between Venus and April, while she grew close to Leonardo as well. On their missions against the Kraang and the Foot, Venus sometimes acted independently, but she relished the adventures she shared with the turtles and her brothers. However, destiny had other plans in store for her.

A flash of light and accidental time travel the turtles to the year 2105. With no way for them to get home. Their new ally and great-grandchildren, Cody Jones, Luna Hamato, Ralph Hamato, Roxanne Hamato, Donnie Hamato, Daniella Hamato, and Mike Hamato, fix the time window and a way to recreate the time-travel accident. However, there are now new challenges and enemies to face and learn the history of their nations that were built by them a hundred years ago and found out that their great-grandchildren were royals of the four nations. But for 4 years back, all the chiefs announced to their people of the nations. They had to evacuate and split them up in each country and city, but before they left the chief of the Tech nation created a device to let them know when it was time to return to the nations. Once they took the children to New York where they would be safe while they continued the problem, nobody knows what was happening but someday they will return to them or one of their children will find them.
