"There's a boy, lost his way, looking for someone to play There's a girl in the window tears rolling down her face We're only lost children, trying to find a friend Trying to find our way back home We don't know where to go, so I'll just get lost with you We'll never fall apart, cause we fit together right, we fit together right These dark clouds over me, rain down and roll away We'll never fall apart, cause we fit together like, two pieces of a broken heart" ♥ ; Harry Styles is an eighteen year old fighter, notorious for his violent and threatening behavior. His rough past has led him to grow up, cold and hardened with only a limited amount of people he can refer to as 'friends'. He's seen as a teenage dirtbag, with his couldn't care less attitude and almost countless tattoos, who just leads his badass crew and pick on targets; some even question if he is capable of having a heart. ♡ ; Selena Gomez is a seventeen year old "innocent goody two shoes" who's lived a weathly life, always showered with the riches of her family. Selena's beautiful, talented, intelligent and desirable by many people. Everything's perfect, right? Wrong. Right when she thought things couldn't get worse, Selena moves to Holmes Chapel for her mum's new job station and things in her life get even worse to the point where she's simply hanging on a single thread that's pulling her together. ☯ ; When Selena attends her first day at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, she immediately becomes Harry's spark of interest. He wants her and Harry Styles always gets what he wants, or else. Selena doesn't give a damn about it and she's the first person to ever stand up to him. Harry's the dark and Selena's the light; like yin and yang, the dark has a dot of good and the light has a dot of bad. Willow's always been known as the good girl with the wealthy parents who could do no wrong. Little do they know that this seemingly perfect girl has some less than perfect secrets; and the fact that she's been sneaking out past curfew every night since the beginning of summer isn't the worst one. Distancing herself from the people at school has become lonely, but everything changes when a group of bad boys that she meets after curfew one night transfer to her school and begin to take an interest in her; one even more than the rest. But will they be able to protect her when events from her past re-surface and begin to get her into more trouble than she ever wanted? ********************** We were a circuit, electricity flowing through us at every connection, every light touch igniting a heat that was exhilarating but dangerous. Like we could catch fire and burn to the ground at any second. "Did you take your own advice? Did you ever forgive yourself?" I whispered, my words evaporating in the heat around us. He moved towards me, trapping me against the car door as his lips traced over my jaw, down to my neck. "This," he whispered, his thumb tracing the waistband of my jeans, making my breathing falter. "Allowing myself to feel this happiness, to feel you...this is me forgiving myself." He kissed me, calming the raging storm in me and igniting a new one. I wasn't sure which would cause more destruction, but I knew only one had pretty blue eyes and a effortless smile that could convince me it was all worth it. It probably was.

"She's hot." "Yeah, I know. I'm kinda jealous..." "I'm gonna ask her out." "Are you crazy? You're asking for a death wish." "What's so wrong with me asking her out?" "Everything! You just can't." "Why!?" "Because she belongs to the king." - Mia White was just an ordinary girl that walked the face of earth. She was who people looked up to. She had good grades, was the kindest person you'd ever meet, and was breathtakingly beautiful. Everyone in ClearHills Academy loved her. But, there were also some who feared and despised her. Some people hated Mia because she was known as 'little miss perfect' and because she was claimed by the one who practically owned everything. Besides her best friend, Sarah, not many people approached her. Most people feared that if they were to do something wrong, it would anger him. And that was the last thing people wanted. Ace King was someone not to mess with. His father owns a powerful company that he would soon take over. He was what parents told their kids not become. He was the bad boy of ClearHills Academy. Ever since Ace first laid eyes on her as kids, she was what he wanted most. Mia was the only person who he'd drop on his knees and bow down to, she was the only person he cared not to be feared by. She was the only who could tame him. - "What is it dear? Do you want something else?" his mother asked, looking down to see his attention focused on something. Or rather, someone. "Her," he said, pointing at a girl, sitting on a small wooden stool with a book in her hands. [Copyright © 2014] In 1943, Charlotte Truly is a nineteen-year-old American nurse serving in World War II. The oldest of four daughters, Charlotte is mostly a shy and reserved girl who keeps to herself. But when Charlotte meets William McCaden, an injured soldier on leave whom she'd briefly met when she was seventeen, she finds herself falling inexplicably in love. When Will is shipped overseas to Nazi-occupied France to fight in a deadly combat mission, Charlotte and Will have only their letters to keep each other close... but in the midst of war, how can love possibly survive? ----- DISCLAIMER: This work was written when I, Raine the author, was 14 years old (circa 2014) and is a FIRST DRAFT. Certain aspects of this story are highly problematic and should rightfully be called out. Please do bear in mind, however, that the entirety of what you see here was written (unedited) by a 14-year-old girl. Now, I as a 20-year-old writing student am fully aware of my mistakes and would like to apologize profusely for them. They are not reflective of my present character by any means and I can assure you that I FULLY condemn the slut-shaming, misogyny, white saviorism, racism, and the general oversimplification of vastly complex themes and historical contexts you might see in Yours Truly (2014). As much as I would like to chalk it all up to being a sign of the times (the very backwards 1940s), I understand now how I should have handled this particular time period with more tact and discretion. Especially with how I recklessly portrayed the horrific racial climate of the 1940s American South. Again, I am very sorry and can wholeheartedly promise you that any later drafts of Yours Truly would 100% rework all of these themes and contexts with the utmost of consideration towards the communities they affect directly. Thank you. -Raine, Feb. 11/2021
