What he doesn't know is, Rainbow's desire for revenge is stronger than his own, and that means he'll make the Chromatics feel the same pain Sabre was put through...... No matter the cost.

This takes place in RQ ep 36. nightmare Steve and dark Steve have the Orange Steve's held as hostages, but Orange Steve/rainbow Steve is watching as sabre is trying to lead the villains away. In the episode sabre leads them away and get destroyed and comes back later as you might remember, but in this story that does not happen. In the ep at 10:37 or around that something else happens. Can he gain the trust from the past or live a life of regret?

What if Sabre was different? What if he had the ability to protect his friends? What if only Lucas knew? When an old Evil returns once more, enemies become allies, and old friends come back, will it finally be too much for our brave hero? Or will he soldier on, and save those he cares for once again? When it comes down to his secret or his friend, what will he choose? (Disclaimer: I LOVE The Steve Saga. After being the Flash for two years our hero Sabre falls. He receives and injury that will effect his powers as the Flash Forever. For a new job he becomes a foster parent and takes care of kids to help him feel better and contribute to Core City even though he can no longer fight or the city thanks to his injury. He is trying to recover as quickly as possible to gain his powers back and fight once again. Rainbow is a 12 year old boy who has been to home to home in the foster care system. No longer wanting to trust others and no memories of his past parents he doesn't care much about people and just wants to be left alone. Tired of the foster care system he swears that this will be the last home he will be in. A new villain arises as well. With no Flash to protect the city they can do as they please. They can't wait until they find "the one they are looking for." Fate will tie them together very soon.
