In an AU LGBTQ+ accepting Camelot, anybody can love anybody. King Arthur throws a Ball to try and find a romantic companion among his kingdom to make his Queen or King Consort. His manservant Merlin is overrun with chores, but finds a way to attend, though he's too embarrassed to go as himself. In disguise he sets a fire in Arthur's heart, who must discover the identity of the mysterious masked man. (I do not own the characters or the photo used for the cover)

More than 1,000 years after Arthur's death, Merlin is still waiting for his King's return. He waits in an abandoned, yet fully decorated observatory on the shore of the Lake of Avalon. An observatory that he has decorated to his heart's content, a place truly fit for a King. He couldn't wait for the day that Arthur would see it.

COMPLETED. Merlin thought his Soulpoetry, a "two sides" inscription on his sternum, was about his life, trying to hide his magic all the time. Arthur thought that his Soulpoetry, an "of the same coin" scrawl on the base of his fingers, referred to the fact that he led a very dull Pendragon life. COMPLETE: A chance meeting as child leaves the young Prince Arthur dreaming of the sea and the captivating legend of the merfolk that dwell there even as their prince, Merlin, dreams of dancing on land. When Merlin saves Arthur from a perilous shipwreck the two of them are set on a journey together to find out just what they'll sacrifice for the future they both dream of.
