Most Jedi died in the Jedi purge issued by Yellow Diamond, one of those being Jedi Master Rose Quartz. Her Padawan learner, Pearl, Jedi Knight Garnet, and youngling Amethyst where of the few to survive. 14 years later, Yellow Diamond sends Jasper, her dark apprentice, to hunt down the Jedi.
