Just another Undertale drabble. Enjoy. Suggested music: Bittersweet Memories by Bullet for my Valentine. Because I feel like that song really fits Sans. Nօtɛ: I do not own the cover artwork - credit goes to the artist.

Here have another little drabble of my new obsession. Note: I don't own the artwork.

The world is trapped in a loop, where nothing is progressing. Side effects tend to build up. The reality so harsh, that it could drive some people to insanity; drive one to shut down completely. Only a conscious so illogical can force Sans to have the strength, and resilience enough to bare through it all. Even when time itself is at odds with your mental stability. (Warning for the blood and innards all over the floor)

Reset after reset, all Sans wanted was to kill the human to protect his friends and family. With a new arrival in the underground Sans had a very important choice to make. Kill the human without knowing their intentions or spare them and see if their promise of saving the monsters was true?

1... 2...... 3......... Y O U ' R E O U T . That's how they will play this game. All it takes is for three red X's to illuminate, and then... it's GAME OVER. Who will die? Who will live? Now that... that's up to YOU. Join in on this choose your own adventure story, and determine the fates of out beloved monsters and human, Frisk. The game is up to you, partner. Hey, Turtle here! Me and @StarryPenName did a collab together! We both will have the full story, so whoever you find first, don't forget to head over to the other person's, and give them a few votes... or something... or just say "hi" for me.... Oh, also throughout the story, there will be a subtle reference to the real world! Comment what it is and if you are the first to get it right, you will get a shout out in the next chapter! Have fun! Summary: What if Frisk was able to get Sans' attention while running from the royal guard, Undyne? What would happen when two conflicting opinions were what determined whether a person lived or died? How far would YOU go for the people you love? If there are two rights, who's really wrong? Read to watch it all unravel.

Finally, after all these resets, it appears they finally got their "happy" ending. However, not all of them feel the same way. Flowey and Sans are the two left who remember what happened, and they are filled with resentment. Just the knowledge of the resets can be nearly maddening. However, Sans keeps his smile. But one day, he realizes... He doesn't want to be Mr. Nice Guy anymore.

Papyrus is dead. As are over 100 of the monsters in the Underground. Now it was just Chara against Sans in the Last Corridor. Already prepared to die here, Sans fights more out of responsibility than anything else. Simply waiting to die, and that would be the end. At least until next round, right?
