"And telling her that war isn't a topic for her seems unnecessary to me - it is our family's origin in the end..." Prussia's head tilted down meaningfully, holding eye contact with Father for what felt much too long. The talking around the table had stopped. And finally, the Third German Reich looked away. "Given the day, I believe I'll survive talking about it." She turned to him with the most diplomatic answer she could think of, "It would be a shame for me to ruin the mood." -- Weimar had more than two children. Not all of them survived the rule of the Third Reich to become nations. --- ||disclaimers you might want to read|| • This is the first longer story I'm writing, so criticism is very appreciated :) • Trigger- and Content Warnings will be posted at the start of each chapter. Only because political ideologies like national socialism and communism are mentioned, I do not support them. Their portrayal in this story will be negative and any comments endorsing them will be deleted. • English isn't my first language, if you see a mistake, do point it out, I'll be eternally grateful for that.

Nature never worked. You've never tried to make it work - Would be Canada's response. Stuck in a moral dilemma and the pressure to do great things, along with unneeded advise all take a toll on his youthful outlook. Trying not to lose his idealism, Canada resigns to work with a lumber company - the exact opposite of what he studied for. Would this be all he amounted to? A profiteering tree-killer with a degree in forest conservation? No doubt there's more to that. Nature never worked. Then don't try to understand me - Would be Norway's response. Between his Scandinavian household's lack of attention to the important aspects of life and the incessant clamour of others around him sap at his sweetness. Most days, he's bland, unemotional, and disinterested. But in the nearby forest, he's a whole different person, with an aura of hope that lights a path to the skies. Anyone who knew Norway enough knew that the forest was his spot of peace and tranquility. All of that would be nice if the forest wasn't suddenly sold to be torn down. Norway meets the first perpetrator, Canada, mid-stroke to take the life of the first tree. The story of two misunderstood people who are bound by circumstance, bad luck, and nature. #1 Countryhumansnorway 06.2024

(18+) First a fantasy, then a reality. Austria-Hungary yearns for the German Empire like a fire seeks oxygen. He makes do with himself initially, but when he invites the Kaiserreich to a train ride through Tirol, things get heated. (Art by Faulti_er on Instagram. Fic based upon a WIP sketch of A-H and GE by ch_robots on Twitter, and this is dedicated to them as well)

(COMPLETE, now with an epilogue!) RusGer hanahaki AU with a lot of angst but also filled with hurt comfort. Russia is seemingly in love with someone else while Germany suffers over it, both mentally and physically. TW: suicide, loss, many mental health issues, please look out for yourself don't hurt yourself! After so long and so many IRL tears I've finally finished it. If you're a new reader, please have a look! I spent a lot of time writing this book, and there's around 10k words per chapter. Please give my novel a chance :,)

Not a ship book (sorry) After graduating from the best Western University there is to offer, Germany, an aspiring historian with about as much decisiveness as he has money, boards a train heading east to Sakhalin Island. His compartment mate, Russia, a foreign worker fresh from the army who is frugal and possessive, who seems to not care about anything (including his life) joins him. Barely any recognition passes between them, although they are joined by Russia's old friend, Poland. It seems just like any other long-haul train ride. Until. The train they take breaks down, and the trek begins. Though ice and snow, wind and in between glaciers, hopping on and off broken down ATV's, icebreakers, and even deer. The inhospitable northeast with its cold exterior brings forth unimaginable heart and warmth in unexpected places. Life over the 72nd parallel hasn't even shown what it can do yet. At the shores of Sakhalin, down the tired slopes and where the dawn is born, not one of them knows what they had just gone through and why. The question is, can they overcome this new challenge? Германии было нелегко освоиться в кругу новых стран из-за своих особенностей. Чаще - из-за своей темной истории, покрытой засохшей кровью. И как хорошо, что есть такие, как Россия.
