Fourth book of The Risen Saga. They all thought they were okay. Seth finally lost, given to The Moon as one of her children. Abaddon was destroyed with the heavenly fire that Tyson's blood holds. Zachariah was brought back. After being stuck in between life and death, he's changed, but he's still Zachariah. Logan--the noble lycanthrope king whose only goal was to win and love--finally laid down to rest. Ava and Tyson live for what seems like a happily ever after, Cordelia and Easton Robinson-Rocco being the light of their lives. Keiran and Jasper have adopted a toddler and have moved out of Headquarters. And everyone thought they were okay. But, when Tyson begins to wake up screaming with golden eyes and Zachariah begins to see things that no one else can, Ava can tell something is off. She goes to Jasper but it isn't much help. As Tyson's heavenly blood becomes more and more of a problem, they try to find a solution but can only come up with one way that could be fatal. And Zachariah can feel himself slowly going insane as death finally gets to him. Emma's doubting herself and her friends, only recently having lost Logan, and finds herself feeling utterly alone. Jasper feels helpless--powerless--because, despite the power he has, he cannot find a way to help. And, with the general off-set in Headquarters, everyone else is falling apart and Ava can't help but feel that this may be the end of the Rebellion. After such a streak of luck, will this group of united supernatural creatures finally tear each other apart from the inside out? Will they destroy themselves before the world destroys them? "Fear is only as deep as the mind allows" ~Japanese proverb They were just kids. But they were all broken in some way; every one of them. The world seemed vast and endless in their eyes and some didn't believe they'd make it to the end, or, at least, not a fulfilling end. The only thing that kept them going was the instinct of self-preservation and the knowledge that, one day, they'd escape this hellish town, or maybe just escape it all. But this wasn't until one night. When the night was filled with the bumping of speakers and the neon lights from a disco ball, imprinting something dark deep into their mind and soul. The majority of the six kids barely knew one another, no matter how close they seemed in the eyes of everyone else. So, at a back-to-school party, where highschoolers drank illegally and danced like it was their last night, they find their world shifting off its axis and see themselves turning to one another in a moment of panic. When each one kid made their way to the house that night, they didn't know it'd be the last night, for some. When a crisis hits, they find it hard to keep on their feet, stumbling in the dark, searching for someone to trust, just so they wouldn't be alone. Paranoid that the other would let something slip past their lips and put them all in danger. They find themselves getting closer in order to keep an eye on the other. The fear pulls them in on themselves but also has them reaching out in order to keep from the everlasting darkness. Can they find salvation? Security? Or will the fear simply become too much? ----------------------------------------------------------------- |DISCLAIMER| THIS NOVEL WILL INCLUDE MATURE CONTENT: mention of sexual activities, violence, inappropriate or vulgar language, underage drinking, illegal drug use, ect. Second book in The Risen Saga. After sent back in time to a world unknown to Ava, she finds herself trapped with a man that she can only connect to a horrible past. But, after only hearing stories, she puts her trust in him because she knows she cannot escape on her own. Tyson, after Ava's disappearance, begins a new stage in his life. In his eyes, the world has turned against him and no one in Headquarters cares. He finds himself close to the brink of insanity only to be brought back and given an outing by a complete stranger. He begins to lose interest in anything other than his late-night activities and fears that the kingdom he is expected to run will fall into anarchy. Yet, he can find no care whatsoever to fix that until Ava is brought back. Tyson is never in Headquarters, whether it be day or night, and Emma finds herself seeking some way to quench her flame of loneliness, only to find herself trapped in between two men that hold her heart above her head. She feels that she cannot choose because she believes that she will never truly be able to love again with her whole being. With Seth stuck in the past, searching for Ava, it proves more difficult than first thought to get what he wants. Being deprived of what he wants is only making him more eager to get it. But, when it is revealed that Ava may be the only way out, Seth has to fall back into his past life in order to get a chance at getting back home. If only he could find a way to put his paranoia and power-hungry antics to the side, then maybe he could find an alternative. DISCLAIMER: The following content is for mature audiences. When you see my name, I bet you think something horrible. Seth Hayes: a killer, a murderer, a psychopath, a monster. And maybe that's what you should see. Maybe that's what I deserve. Who am I kidding? Of course, it's what I deserve. And maybe I don't deserve something like this, a story of my life. An explanation. I wasn't always like this. I wasn't a heartless monster, so obsessed with power that I killed over it. So obsessed with the idea of something bigger that I was willing to die over it. And what you're about to read isn't an excuse for what I did and it definitely does not excuse it. But maybe you'll be able to understand me. Even if only for a tiny, fleeting moment. Third book in The Risen Saga. After the death of the group's beloved friend, everyone is in a turmoil; Emma's heartbroken, Ava's rage finally lit to a bonfire, and Tyson falling into a pit of his own sorrows and self-harming ways. With Seth on the run and Abaddon breaking through the barriers in everyone's head, nobody feels safe. But how do they hide from the things outside their safe haven when they're scared of what's in their heads? They reinforce Headquarters with spells and traps but have doubt that it will be enough. Ava thought they were finally done dealing with her monster, but, clearly, she was wrong. Tyson starts blacking out and ending up in places that he has no recollection of how he got there. And Emma is ready to go on a manhunt, only, every time she even thinks of that night, she breaks down in a heap of her own blood and tears. The world is falling apart around them, quite literally. Where they thought Seth was focusing his attention on Ava and the Hidden World, they find he has bigger plans, due to his new ally. With every one of them being supernatural beings, they'd left their mundane lives behind and thought that humans were outside of their small, hidden circle and out of danger. But when mundane murders start drawing the Rebellion's attention, they suspect Seth is behind them. When Ava faces her fear against the monsters in her world, and in others, the fate of the world is settled on her shoulders. Yet again, she finds she is the only one to stand between life and death. Only, Seth isn't the only one with new allies. *ATTENTION*DO NOT SKIP* Do NOT copyright! This is my story.
