Those kids would not only get to leave the isle to attend but also get the chance to make a proper and good name for themselves apart from their parents. Of course, there are those against it such as Prince Roman who despite Patton's attempts to get to understand, is horrified about it. Even going so far as to try and pull his twin Remus from helping. Remus does anyway alongside their friend Remy who's only there for the drama. Roman was unsuccessful in stopping the raffle and now all thats left is to see who wins. What three kids will get the chance to leave the isle and what will they do with their new found freedom?

The main characters, Rain, Sunny, and River discover new things, along with new feelings. These fifteen year olds experience the death of friends and family, along with strangers. They all come across beautiful, innocent creatures the government wants to kill off. After the great war, their country is all humanity has left.
