Book 1 of Outlanders 3 years ago, on the 4th of April 2019, a infection spread all across the world, wiping out life as we knew it.My remaining family; Kyle (13) Zander (10) Cole (8) and I (14) fell ill with the virus in early May after weeks of desperate solitude. After somehow surviving its deadly wrath, we decided to leave our home in Pennsylvania with our three dogs, who had luckily been immune to the virus, as it only affected humans. We spent the next year wandering what was once the U.S. in search of a safe place to live. During our journey, Kyle and I discovered that surviving the virus allowed us to shape-shift into certain animals, while Zander and Cole had obtained strange kinetic abilities, which we just referred to as 'magic'. When we finally reached the West Coast, we found the Fourth City.(which was once known as Los Angeles) We were blessed with luck in that we found our friends Chai and Koi. However, we were not as blessed as we thought, because we later became a target of the Fourth City, who believed that the changed (that's us) were a threat to the remaining human population and needed to be exterminated. let's go back to 3 years ago when we made our home in the Angeles National Forest in California, but is now known as Wolf Point, a small village on Mt. San Antonio, inhabited by maybe 10 people, tops. Their Survival is up to Fate
