Nor was it her innocence, which seemed to follow her everywhere, highlighted by her delicate Fulani features that could be recognized from miles away. It was her, entirely. Her very existence was the axis upon which Amir Qasim's life revolved. But when that axis was removed, his world was thrown into chaos. Being born the eldest child of the Sultan wasn't his choice, nor was becoming the next Sultan, burdened with immense responsibilities. Yet he accepted it, carrying those duties he so deeply resented. Becoming the next Sultan's wife wasn't her choice either, nor was becoming the eldest Princess of the Kubi Caliphate. So why was she forced to bear the brunt of the grudge he harbored within? Why did she have to endure the short end of the stick? From the moment she stepped into the world of royalty, she knew the path would be hard-fought. But she wasn't willing to lose. Why should she? She harbors the same hatred towards him. However, there is a saying, "The more you hate, the more you love." By Ferdeausee.

She was promised to another. He was never an option. Amara, heiress to a multi-billion dollar empire, has always known that love is a privilege-not a choice. Bound by her father's expectations and an arranged marriage that secures the family legacy, she has spent her life walking the path he set for her. But when she meets Abdul-a self-made entrepreneur with dreams as bold as his faith-her carefully constructed world begins to crack. He is everything her family opposes: the wrong religion, the wrong background, the wrong choice. Yet, in his presence, she feels more herself than ever before. As love ignites between them, so does the storm of opposition. Betrayal, sacrifice, and the weight of her father's iron rule threaten to tear them apart. Will they fight for a love the world refuses to accept, or will they become casualties of a war between legacy and the heart? ---- A Poetic Love Novel

Maryam never had a say. Although her situation wasn't her fault, people never fail to rub it in her face. If she was a child out of wedlock, she wouldn't have been sad. Atleast she'd be paying for her parent's sin. If she was an Almajira, she'd still lift her head up high and accept what ever the world threw at her, atleast she would still be paying for her parent's sin for throwing her out into the streets. If she was a prostitute, Heck! she'd stand proud and tall, atleast it was her decision to sell her body to men. But, she was neither one of this things. She had lost her father, a day before she was born. Her mother got married to someone else a week later! That marriage came with a whole lot of burden. A burden she was subjected to by her gullible mother. A burden she had no choice but to embrace.
