Rui Yangtze was adopted by the family of Ruby Rose and company when she was found abandoned in the forest with her dead mother. However, she started to get abused by the very people who adopted her as she got older. After a year of abuse, Rui had the strength to leave them for good. She somehow ended up on a strange world where there were people like her, but they were so far behind in technology. And unlike her previous caretakers, these people treated her with love and respect, teaching her about the world they're in, even training her to become one of the fiercest warriors of the faction, the agile fire-wielding class known as the Zhanhu. After a remnant of the Blackstone Legion attacked her home, Rui along with two Knights and a Samurai were tasked with escorting the Empress out of the fortress. But suddenly, an earthquake managed to seperate and engulf them from the Empress after saving her while fighting the Blackstones. Surprisingly, the four of them didn't die and managed to find themselves in a forest filled with unknown creatures, but this is all familiar with Rui. And she does not like it one bit.
