The world isn't perfect by any means, as there are still many obstacles to overcome, such as the discrimination monsters face at the hands of certain groups of human individuals. Despite the imperfections, the monster population is determined to make this their new home. In just a few months, monsters spread throughout the surface and bring their cultures and traditions. Grillby's bar, is no exception. Sans no longer feels that hopelessness, as he believes this is the fresh start he's been looking for.
