Yet something lurks beneath the surface. Something dark and close to home. For some, this threat means facing the past. For others, it means holding on to a glimmer of hope. It all started with a gift and then tragedy struck. No one, not even the Lions saw it coming: The beloved heroes of Chima taken away by a mysterious portal. The heroes are frighted and wonder if the portal will take them back. Yet the portal hides secrets and other realms. Within these realms are allies and new friendships are quickly made. But a new menace arises as well. Can Laval and the Chima heroes band with their newfound allies and harness all their strengths to stop this new menace?
