Roman was being ignored and so left to find somewhere to live, away from the toxic environment of the so-called 'light sides' and finds something else instead.

Roman never hated deceit as much as the others did. Even though deceit was a slippery snake, perhaps he was just the slightest bit attractive.

Deceit stared into the mirror, his hand slipping gently across every scale. He grumbled out of self hatred. "Disgusting"

Roman realised that the other sides have given up on him. He tries to butt into conversation, but ever since Remus came into the picture, Thomas has definitely disliked Roman a lot more, not being able to fully trust him. The other sides slowly began to ignore him too. He then stopped showing up himself. And no one seemed to care. and yes, they had noticed. Due to his lack of participation in helping Thomas with his creativity, Roman fell ill and lost all of his color. Deceit strangely felt bad. He wanted to help Roman, and that confused not only Roman, but him too.

Remus and Deceit feel alone, the so-called 'light sides' push them away and blame them for everything negative. Why can't they see that they're really trying to help? Why is it so easy for Anxiety to be welcomed yet they're the villains? What happens when the two 'dark sides' find comfort in each other and something beautiful, something the others thought wasn't possible, happens?
