To wizards and mind readers, shapeshifters are disposable. The only way to prove that a shapeshifter is worth more than the dirt on their shoes is to become a dragon rider. Ella plans to do just that. When a stubborn, bad-tempered dragon picks her out of all the young hopefuls at the Choosing Ceremony, her plans go south. She learns an earth-shattering secret about her heritage, and she's trapped at the Dragon Rider Academy, surrounded by potential enemies. She must learn to control illegal fire powers and get along with her dragon if she's going to survive the Academy. And if she manages that, she might have a chance at surviving a mission that could determine the fate of the world as she knows it. *Completed* Awards: -2nd place in the fantasy category of the Lotus Awards 2019 -3rd place in the adventure category of the Creativity Awards 2019 Highest ranking: #1 in #dragonrider #1 in #magicschool #1 in #shapeshifter

When Hiccup begins to feel a tingling in his back, he doesn't realise his life is going to change forever. (I wrote these when I was younger, just started out writing and was going through a hard time, so don't expect anything brilliant. I tried my best, it the best I could manage at the time.) #2 in weredragon #1 in Dragonblood

A short story written for the Red Feather Award Summer 2019 Writing Contest - To love a man to the point where he's all you can ever think of, is Arraya Templeton's problem. Except the man in question is a fictional character in her own novel. But what happens if he's real? Travel into the world of a writer, who discovers how powerful writing a book can be, when she learns her characters have come to life, and their lives are in jeopardy, because of her. GALSYR brings back the meaning of true romance as two people learn that there is not always rhyme or reason to falling in love. 'Sometimes, it just happens.' Three prompts: Broken Key, Old Book, The Smell of Rain.
