On a mission to free dragons from Dragon Hunters, Hiccup gets attacked by an unknown dragon and gets deathly ill. The Dragon Riders need to find out what is making their leader and friend sick and find a cure before it's too late.

When Hiccup gets into an accident, he remembers nothing but his father, Stoick, his mentor, Gobber, the Viking teens who bullied him, and most of all his fear of all dragons. Now, his family and friends must find a way to return his memories and show him that the dragons that live on Berk are nothing to be afraid of. Ok, this is an AU of httyd. This is my first time writing an AU, so bear with me. What if instead of Valka being taken by Cloudjumper during a dragon raid, Hiccup is kidnapped by Alvin during an Outcast attack?

This is a story about what if Grimmel succeeded in the movie Httyd3. What if he captured Hiccup and he had no control of anything? What if Toothless was going to be kept alive?...maybe...sorry... Will Valka and the gang p get to him in time? Will Hiccup ever be the same? I came up with this idea after seeing some fan art. I hope you enjoy the story. I don't own the drawing. Hiccup and his fellow riders try to defend the edge from another dragon hunter attack led by Viggo and his brother Ryker. But during the battle, Hiccup gets injured and tries to hide his pain from his friends. But when the dragon hunters attack the edge again soon after, fighting the hunters leads Hiccup to get captured and in the hands of the hunter brothers. Can his friends get Hiccup before more harm is done?

After HTTYD 3, Hiccup ends up at the mercy of Grimmel. Without the help of his friends, or his dragon, both who have no idea where he is, and things aren't looking good for him. Astrid and the riders are desperate to get their leader back, but will it be too late? (This is the REWRITTEN version of my old book, 'Hiccup's Mercy'. There WILL not be any added characters, except those who are warlords because I can't remember their names. I dislike my old version and find it too fast, so this is my version of it which hopefully will be better.)

When Alvin captures Hiccup and tells him to make him a flying suit, Hiccup refuses. But how long can he stay defient in the harsh conditions that Al in forces him through. They are tests of strength and will. He has to depend on himself for strength that his people will rescue him.
