I shook and began whimpering. Slappy pulled me close to him and gently rubbed my back. "Shh. It is going to be okay." "No!" I pushed him hard and stood up. "It will not be okay! What those monsters are doing to the humans is certainly not okay! Making them lunch? Dropping worms and even snakes on them? That is sick and scary!" Tears formed in my eyes. "I thought that you all cared for me!" "We do care for you! We love you!" I shook my head and sniffed. "And what about you? Why do you hardly spend time with me? I thought that we were friends.
