That is just how life is for Goosekit. Born deaf, he is still desires to become a warrior, despite the rest of his Clan doubting him. Along with the challenges he must face that come from being deaf, he must face the ordinary challenges of a warrior - all the while wondering what StarClan has in store for him, and why they would let him live without the gift of hearing.
