In a world where people are monitored from birth by a corrupt Government, one boy has the power to change everything... *** I've gone 17 years without being caught. No one in their right minds would turn me in, but I have other things to be worrying about. Like, for instance, the slow yet brutal collapse of my family following my dad's affair. Or the fact that I might be falling in love with my best friend's sibling... But I can't hide from the truth forever, and they're closing in fast.

This is a poem I wrote about how a girl was hurt by the media and how she almost lost her worth. The media is a sometimes a toxic place and it lets opinions get into others heads. Eventually, they connect on a mutual love of art and find that they can return the happiness back to the others life by helping one another in their personal battles.
