Amanda Holden's husband has been dead for a year now because of pancreatic cancer, which had already been like a death sentence when her husband was diagnosed two years ago. She meets Simon Cowell, the man she works with on Britain's Got Talent in a graveyard in London where her husband and coincidentally, Simon's parents are buried on the night before Christmas Eve night. She invites him to come over to her house to spend the night before Christmas Eve as his son will be arriving from New York on Christmas Eve day.
