But her scars have healed, and now she has emerged on the other side - fully qualified, with a stable job, loving partner and a fresh start in her own house. It should be a lot smoother sailing from here. Draco Malfoy had so much to win back last year. He had lost his dignity, his status and all hope in getting better. It took some time, and a certain woman's help, but his scars have healed and he has mended the breaks in his life. Now he can live with the knowledge that he has safety, and the conviction that it isn't an accident - this will last. The pair seemed so unlikely, but now they couldn't be closer. They will need each other's support to survive life after school and all the troubles adulthood brings; just because life is easier doesn't mean that bad things and confusing feelings can't happen. But they have each other after all, and everything is easier when someone is there to watch your back. NOTE: This is a sequel to my other fanfiction, 'Scars That Heal'. It can be read on its own as an adult Dramione fic, but there will be references to events in the other book set in Hogwarts, so although I would recommend reading 'STH' first, it shouldn't be necessary for the enjoyment of this book.

[COMPLETED] The Battle changed everyone, there was no doubt in that. Hermione was still returning to Hogwarts despite this, in the hope she would be able to get her NEWTs and move on. Nightmares haunt her, and it will be difficult to forget all that has happened. Draco was a Death Eater, despised and feared. Now he has to contend with the hate he helped breed, and make it to the end of his exams before he can escape it. But all he did has taken it's toll, and he's not the only one dealing with the awful memories. They say misery loves company, but maybe broken people can learn to fix each other...
