One night stands should only remain one night stands... When Blane finally decided to find a good lay for the night, he was approached by the mysterious Ashley Debres; a man with an especially dangerous air about him. Every instinct still screamed at Blane to grab him and take him home. The only problem was that just by looking at him, Blane knew the man was obscenely younger than he was. But Ashley didn't seem like the person who usually took no for an answer, and when attraction quickly turned into obsession, only destruction awaited at the end of that tunnel.

"There comes a point where you no longer care if there's a light at the end of the tunnel or not. You're just sick of the tunnel." - Who I am doesn't matter. How I got here doesn't matter. What matters now is I'm getting help, right? That's what they tell me here. They tell me that the road to recovery feels like a terrible butt fuck, but the fact that you're on the path to begin with, is all that matters. So as I sit in this circle of fuck ups, I realize just how different I am from them. I didn't attempt suicide because my mother was a crack addict who didn't want me. My father wasn't abusive. I didn't have a sibling die in a car accident. I was never really bullied either. I attempted suicide because, for the first time in years, I thought I had found something that could make me feel again... and after not feeling much at all for far too long, perhaps I went a bit overboard

Redemption and retribution. They'll have to decide for themselves which road to take. And we all know the road to hell is paved with good intentions. --- The third and final installment in the Psychopath Next Door trilogy. © All Rights Reserved

[UPDATES ON FRIDAYS] It's been three years since Luz Melo left Portland, Maine... and Drake Medina. ☽ When her "borderline" alcoholic lifestyle in NYC falls apart, leaving her girlfriend in rehab, her grades trashed, and her scholarship revoked, the only thing left for her to do is admit defeat and head back to her hometown, to a shared apartment with her brother (and his roommates) in a sleepy port city that she swore she'd left behind forever. Enroll at MECA. Sober up. Forget Jess. Her hopes for normalcy (and recovery) sink quickly, when a body surfaces off the Maine State Pier, only a few blocks from her campus, ruled as a drug-related death. It becomes a pattern, and if Luz looks deep enough, it becomes a coded chase through cold, dark nights with a shotgun passenger: Drake Medina. Because she knows Drake knows something, but if there's anything she... really... knows, it's that Drake has been (and always will be) a liar. It doesn't take long for Luz to understand why: if they keep digging, it only gets darker and darker... and closer to home.
