Keith is hurt on a mission and only pidge knows. The team expect him to be on the top of the game and he struggles to make it up to their expectations. then a mission goes wrong and the Voltron paladins are captured by an enemy tribe who know the Keith is hurt. they use this to get information. information from him and from the other paladins. but now their back on the ship, with complicated feelings and a week of Lance and Keith restricted to the same couch. what could go wrong, or more, what could go right? Keith is a bit off his game and the other Paladins are taking notice. Even Lance is growing concerned at his teammate's behavior.

Keith's been kidnapped by the galra and now their holding his hostage. lance is super worried about his crush. in order to get Keith back they need to hand over the black, red and blue lions. will the rest of voltron be able to rescue their friend in time? a figure is pushed down in from of the screen, hands bound behind them. an unruly mop of black hair hides his face but there's no mistaking who it is. "Keith" Lance cries out worriedly. Keith doesn't look up, keeping his head down as his back moves fast with short hard breaths. "this young half breed happened to fall into my hands not to long ago" Valor walks behind him and roughly entangles his fingers in Keith's hair. gripping it he yanks Keith's head up and kneels down behind him. Keith grits his teeth in pain and squeezes his eyes shut. "but we've had so much fun." Keith's pale, paler then normal. a strip of blood had mostly dried up on his check, staining it red. "let him go valor." Shiro demands voice hard and eyes fierce. "now why would i do that we where having so much fun" Valor grins a blade glinting in his hands.

They won this battle, this time... but at what cost? When the team defeats Zarkon in a battle, they don't realize they've left someone behind until it's too late. The team struggles to find Keith's location as their anxiety spikes for the worry of their fellow Paladin. Peak devastation hits when they receive a small look into what Keith is enduring, and it encourages them to work faster. When Keith finally returns, he's different. He suffered plenty physically pain, but the Paladins have no idea what mental pain he may have gone through and is still going through. They can tell Keith is keeping something from them. As Keith fights the mental abuse he weighs down on himself everyday, he also fights the flashes that are consistently pushing forward and making themselves known. There's something wrong about him, something inside him he didn't feel before. He knows it, but not what to do about it. Keith's scared, how is he supposed to fight this alone? He does not realize he doesn't have to. Also the first few parts are badly written. They were from when I first started writing. The paladins were about to visit a uninhabited planet to have a break from all the fighting. It was said that the planet would react differently to certain alien races. Princess Allura had checked that it was safe for Alteans and Humans and it was perfectly fine. However, there is a certain race she didn't check... Keith is abused at home. By both of his parents. He moves from Texas to a small city Altea. There is only one school there- Voltron High.He makes his first ever friends. Will they be able to see through his lies and make up? or will they be oblivious and will not help save Keith from his cruel legal guardians?

"S-Stay, p-please," Keith mumbled, hiding his face in his pillow. Lance nodded climbing beside the small boy. Keith turned to face him, his face flushed as he looked at Lance, "T-Thanks." "For what?" Lance whispered, his breath close enough for Keith to touch. "B-Being by my side," Keith moved closer to Lance, closing the small distance between them, "I-I thought y-you'd all hate me." "Why would you think that?" "Ha," Keith let out a bitter laugh, "I'm half Galra. I share half of my DNA with a race who has killed countless civilizations, not to mention they kidnapped Shiro and Katie's family, and they-" "Exactly, "they". You didn't help them do any of that, right?" Lance touched Keith's forehead with his own, drinking in the feel of his soft skin. "N-No but-" "No "buts", you didn't choose to be born part Galra, and you have more than proved you're a paladin." "Allura and Coran hate me," Keith mumbled, trying to find some way to prove that they did indeed hate him. "No they don't, just give them some time to adjust," Keith turned around, pulling Lance's arm around him, "They have to get used to you. None of us hate you, not the smallest bit." Lance waited for Keith to argue but the boy had already fallen asleep. Lance hugged the boy tighter as he copied his steady breaths. He's tortured and abused for three days, leaving him a damaged mess. The paladins finally find him and bring him home, but Keith is acting strange, stranger than usual. I obviously don't own Voltron.
