His deep voice calmed her and made her feel safe which wasn't something she had felt for some time. I scooped him up into my arms and spun him around the room causing him to giggle. "You're going to be the best hero, one day." I ruffled his dusty blonde hair as I set him on his feet. "I can start now." He grinned. "Oh yeah?" I smiled. "Mhm, I'll start by keeping Nee-san safe." He beamed. I leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek, "With you as my protector, I'll always be safe."
